I moved to Charlotte with my wife and one of my adult children a few years ago from Long Island, looking for a slower pace and to work on select projects of my own and to help others. What I found was a fast growing city and some of the nicest and most welcoming people I have come to know. In pursuit of my new goals, however, the continued expansion in the Charlotte region may have left a void of tradesmen to work on residential remodeling projects — especially those communities built 20+ years ago, many outfitted with builder grade products and finishes that people are looking to refresh. I experienced this void first hand renovating the home we moved into and not being able to find many of the trades I needed.
This was the genesis of NY Connection, a professional remodeling and handyman services company.

You work directly with Mike from the first visit through cleanup and completion — he stays hands on and reachable throughout your project — supported by his crew of carpenters and trusted local suppliers for cabinetry, tile, stone countertops, and custom shower enclosures.
